Fidra Island from Yellowcraigs, East Lothian

Another wet and overcast day I'm afraid!

A view towards the Pentland Hills, shrouded in low cloud

I'm off...!

The clag was down... this is no place for a wandering photographer!

Edinburgh skyline, or sky?

Looking north from Blackford Hill Edinburgh was quite overcast

Blackford Hill, Edinburgh

Looking west a huge hole appeared in the clouds

Edinburgh skyline in the distance from Longniddry Bents

North Berwick

Bass Rock in a storm

North Berwick

Looking stormy

North Berwick

Another big wave

North Berwick

A photographer can be seen just behind the spray!

North Berwick

The wandering photographer braved a soaking by going to the end of the rocky headland to the right of the spray to get the next two images!

North Berwick

From snowy landscape to sea, the wandering photographer visited the wild sea in the afternoon

Pentland Hills

Fresh snow, overcast, very cold biting wind, outside 24 hours, sheep here are very hardy... more than can be said of the wandering photographer!

Tracks in the snow

A ploughed field with a mantle of snow always makes a interesting image

Pentland Hills in the snow

Hmmm... snowy times again this morning!

Auchencorth Moss looking towards the Moorfoot Hills

Again, a distant squall is bathed in a weak red light as the sun sets. The snow covered Moorfoots can be seen behind. After this the frozen wandering photographer went home for hot chai!

Auchencorth Moss

As the sun set, the red light lit up a squall over the moor road. These squalls have been heavy hailstones

Pentland Hills from Auchencorth Moss

A 'wow' sky... if you like stormy weather! The last rays of the sun are just catching the hills on the extreme right.

Auchencorth Moss
