Auchencorth Moss and the Pentland Hills
Yes, this is the same day, just an hour later and getting dark. Snow storms, high winds and bitterly cold. We DO have a lot of weather in Scotland!

On the field adjacent there is the remains of a Roman Camp, on the knoll itself is a well preserved early Christian burial site from the ‘Dark Ages’, between the 5th and 8th centuries AD. Evidence of a long occupation in this area.Lyne Kirk
A very ancient gravestone. An Adam and Eve stone depicting a carved scene of the Temptation in the Garden of Eden. These are rare!

The mystery object from Sunday on the outside! East Lothian is well known for its dovecots. They were used in medieval times as a ready source of meat and eggs.
